WASHINGTON — The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board launched a series of free online training videos Thursday to help dealers and issuers submit primary- and secondary-market disclosures to the board's EMMA system.
The primary-market disclosure videos include tutorials on submitting new-issue disclosures, adding or removing securities or issues from submissions, and submitting official statements, remarketing data, advance refunding information, commercial paper and securities that are ineligible for a CUSIP assignment.
Issuers and dealers can watch continuing disclosure videos to learn about submitting continuing disclosures and creating groups of securities for which continuing disclosures can be submitted.
The board also announced this week that it will host an educational webinar on Sept. 18 about its Trade Monitor, a new tool that allows issuers to download trade data and evaluate trading activity and bond prices.
In addition, the board announced Wednesday that it also has added monthly new-issue submission data to the market statistics section of EMMA.
