Consumers increased their expectations for inflation, according to the February Survey of Consumer Expectations, released by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Monday.

The Texas Department of Transportation plans to offer $624 million of general obligation bonds bearing the state’s triple-A credit in April. The deal will be the largest from a Texas issuer so far this year.

The municipal bond market is set to kick off the week with two large deals coming from New York issuers on Monday.

Municipals ended the week mixed, according to traders, as yields were one basis point higher in nine maturities towards the front end of the curve, while the rest of the maturities were unchanged. The upcoming week’s new issue slate will be led by issuers from Tennessee, New York, Connecticut and Hawaii, as one of the issuers is doing something they haven’t done since the 1980s.
