Ten investment advisory firms have agreed to pay penalties totaling $660,456 to settle Securities and Exchange Commission charges that they violated the SEC's investment advisor pay-to-play rule.

Tender rates for the Treasury Department's latest 91-day and 182-day discount bills were mixed, as the three-months incurred a 0.530% high rate, up from 0.510% the prior week, and the six-months incurred a 0.580% high rate, off from 0.590% the week before.

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.520% high yield, a price of 99.959556.
