Will Estess joins Wilmington Trust in Birmingham

BRADENTON, Fla. – Wilmington Trust NA has hired Will Estess as a client development officer in its Birmingham, Ala., corporate trust office.

Estess will work on the public finance and agency team.

“Estess is responsible for introducing Wilmington Trust’s corporate trust services, including trustee, paying agent and escrow agent to corporations, municipalities, and other institutions throughout the Southeastern United States,” the company said in a release.

Before joining Wilmington, Estess was an equipment finance relationship manager at Regions Bank. He has 12 years of commercial banking experience, including credit analysis, lending, and portfolio management roles.

Estess has worked with municipalities, issuing authorities, school boards, utility districts, cooperatives and nonprofit organizations, as well as corporations.

Estess earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate, banking, and finance from Mississippi State University.

He is active in the community, previously serving on the governance committee of the Vestavia Hills Rotary Club, and is active with Junior Achievement’s JA in a Day program volunteering to teach students.

Wilmington Trust opened the Birmingham office in 2016, staffing it with six industry veterans from Regions Bank.
