Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.200% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.200% high yield, a price of 99.797778.

The coupon equivalent was 0.204%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.81. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 89.51%. The median yield was 0.190%. The low yield was 0.150%.

Tenders totaled $115,437,837,400 and Treasury accepted $24,000,352,400, including $98,837,400 non-competitive.

Treasury also auctioned $28 billion of four-week bills at a 0.005% high yield, a price of 99.999661.

The coupon equivalent was 0.005%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.59.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 68.27%. The median yield was zero. The low yield was zero.

Tenders totaled $128,439,226,800 and the Treasury accepted $28,000,171,800, including $210,851,800 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought $5,937,991,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
