The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $50 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.
There are currently $69.999 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle Aug. 21 and are due Sept. 18.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
