Treasury to Sell $35B 4-Week Bills

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department said Tuesday it will sell $35 billion of four-week discount bills Wednesday.

There are currently $83.998 billion of four-week, or 28-day, bills outstanding.

The bills settle September 9 and are due October 7.

Federal Reserve banks hold $6.285 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
