The Treasury Department said it will auction $29 billion seven-year notes on Thursday, Feb. 26.
The notes are dated Feb. 28 and are due Feb. 28, 2022.
Treasury also said it will auction $26 billion two-year notes on Tuesday, Feb. 24, and $35 billion five-year notes on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
The five-years are due Feb. 28, 2020. The two-years are due Feb. 28, 2017.
Federal Reserve guidance will likely continue to support the long end, MMD's Kevin McGuigan said, but "investors need to be cautious about extending duration right now, given that a lot of the pressure on the long end has been the result of supply concerns."
