NEW YORK - The Treasury Department said Thursday it will auction $27 billion 91-day bills and $24 billion 182-day discount bills Tuesday.
The 91s are dated June 2 and due Sept. 1, and the 182s are dated June 2, and due Dec. 1.
Currently, there are $30.002 billion 91-days outstanding and no 182s.
Market support for taxables, particularly those from active issuers, remains firm. Taxables are seeing gains of 1.08% year-to-date, or 50 basis points above a UST index gain, said Kim Olsan, senior fixed income portfolio manager at NewSquare Capital.
