The Treasury Department said Thursday it will auction $24 billion 91-day bills and $24 billion 182-day discount bills Monday.
The 91s settle May 14 and are due Aug. 13 and the 182s settle May 14 and are due Nov. 12.
Currently, there are $26.000 billion 91-days outstanding and $25.000 billion 182s.
Federal Reserve guidance will likely continue to support the long end, MMD's Kevin McGuigan said, but "investors need to be cautious about extending duration right now, given that a lot of the pressure on the long end has been the result of supply concerns."
