The Treasury Department auctioned $28 billion of seven-year notes, with a 1 5/8% coupon and a 1.653% high yield, a price of 99.815632.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.49.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 23.26%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.600%. The low yield was 1.535%.
Tenders totaled $69,749,483,800 and the Treasury accepted $28,000,001,200 including $15,742,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $1,692,704,300 for their own account.
The notes are dated Oct. 31 and are due Oct. 31, 2023.
