The Treasury Department auctioned $28 billion of seven-year notes, with a 1 1/2% coupon and a 1.606% high yield, a price of 99.300837.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.51.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 57.38%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.553%. The low yield was 1.495%.
Tenders totaled $70,151,253,900 and the Treasury accepted $28,000,013,900 including $17,956,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,671,120,600 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes are dated March 31 and are due March 31, 2023.
