The Treasury Department auctioned $28 billion of seven-year notes, with a 1 1/2% coupon and a 1.568% high yield, a price of 99.550856.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.25.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 33.44%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.510%. The low yield was 1.420%.
Tenders totaled $62,886,342,100 and the Treasury accepted $28,000,022,100 including $20,432,100 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $9,384,132,400 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes are dated Feb. 29 and are due Feb. 28, 2023.
