The Treasury Department auctioned $34 billion of five-year notes, with a 1 3/8% coupon, a 1.410% high yield, a price of 99.831723.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.41.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 87.24%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.360%. The low yield was 1.200%.
Tenders totaled $81,783,420,000 and the Treasury accepted $34,000,014,000 including $52,280,000 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $9,035,147,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated April 30, will mature April 30, 2021.
