NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $40 billion of four-week bills at a 0.075% high yield, a price of 99.994167.
The coupon equivalent was 0.076%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.14.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 23.59%. The median yield was 0.060%. The low yield was 0.040%.
The bills have an issue date of March 24 and are due April 21.
Tenders totaled $165,641,137,300 and the Treasury accepted $40,000,137,300, including $246,269,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,285,071,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
