NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $28 billion of four-week bills at a 0.025% high yield, a price of 99.998056.
The coupon equivalent was 0.025%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.55.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 62.67%. The median yield was 0.020%. The low yield was zero.
The bills have an issue date of May 19 and are due June 16.
Tenders totaled $127,389,147,700 and the Treasury accepted $28,000,968,700, including $222,110,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,285,071,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
