The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $55 billion of four-week bills at a 0.295% high yield, a price of 99.977056.
The coupon equivalent was 0.300%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.69.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 5.17%. The median rate was 0.270%. The low rate was 0.200%.
The bills have an issue date of Jan. 28 and are due Feb. 25.
Tenders totaled $203,148,393,400 and the Treasury accepted $55,000,423,900, including $269,465,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
