The Treasury Department Wednesday auctioned $55 billion of four-week bills at a 0.270% high yield, a price of 99.979000.
The coupon equivalent was 0.275%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.23.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 78.90%. The median rate was 0.250%. The low rate was 0.210%.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 18 and are due March 17.
Tenders totaled $177,773,906,700 and the Treasury accepted $55,000,156,700, including $297,605,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
