The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.190% high yield, a price of 99.985222.
The coupon equivalent was 0.193%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.13.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 95.97%. The median rate was 0.170%. The low rate was 0.125%.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 3 and are due Dec. 31.
Tenders totaled $140,905,146,300 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,248,800, including $207,428,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
