The Treasury Department Thursday auctioned $13 billion of 29-year 11-month bonds with a 3% coupon at a 2.848% high yield, a price of 103.043970.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.76.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 90.67%.
The median yield was 2.819%. The low yield was 2.748%.
Tenders totaled $35,910,621,500 and the Treasury accepted $13,000,022,300 including $6,121,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The bonds dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2044.
