The Treasury Department Thursday auctioned $13 billion of 29-year 11-month bonds with a 2 1/2% coupon at a 2.681% high yield, a price of 96.289689.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.18.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 98.37%.
The median yield was 2.622%. The low yield was 2.510%.
Tenders totaled $28,305,816,400 and the Treasury accepted $13,000,001,400 including $11,301,400 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The bonds dated Feb. 15, will mature Feb. 15, 204
