The Treasury Department Wednesday auctioned $13 billion of 29-year 10-month bonds with a 3% coupon at a 2.430% high yield, a price of 112.041418.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.32.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 29.89%.
The median yield was 2.374%. The low yield was 2.280%.
Tenders totaled $30,224,682,900 and the Treasury accepted $13,000,011,900 including $3,322,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The bonds dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2044.
