The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes at a 2.080% high yield, a price of 99. 768648.
The notes, dated Jan. 16, will mature Jan. 15, 2021.
The median yield was 2.040%. The low yield was 1.888%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.13.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 65.25%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
Tenders totaled $75,056,604,600 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,029,600, including $23,839,925,000 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
