The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $27 billion of three-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.066% yield, a price of 99.805642.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.17.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 20.66%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.035%. The low yield was 0.950%.
Tenders totaled $85,625,704,100 and the Treasury accepted $27,000,004,100, including $65,604,100 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Sept. 15, will mature Sept. 15, 2017.
