The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.050% yield, a price of 99.852956.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.34.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 81.56%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.020%. The low yield was 0.800%.
Tenders totaled $80,271,754,000 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,208,000, including $61,954,000 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $905,600 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Feb. 15, will mature Feb. 15, 2018.
