The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.000% yield, a price of par.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.34.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 69.83%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.969%. The low yield was 0.800%.
Tenders totaled $80,099,921,400 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,140,900, including $71,096,400 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $542,818,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated May 15, will mature May 15, 2018.
