The Treasury Department Monday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 7/8% coupon at a 0.926% yield, a price of 99.849449.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.33.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 85.18%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.900%. The low yield was 0.835%.
Tenders totaled $79,926,050,100 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,082,700, including $51,550,100 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Jan. 15, will mature Jan. 15, 2018.
