The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $30 billion of three-year notes with a 7/8% coupon at a 0.895% yield, a price of 99.940929.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.36.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 10.58%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.873%. The low yield was 0.819%.
Tenders totaled $100,829,681,700 and the Treasury accepted $30,000,033,700, including $43,081,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated April 15, will mature April 15, 2017.
