The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 7/8% coupon at a 0.890% yield, a price of 99.955693.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.72.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 7.57%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.840%. The low yield was 0.745%.
Tenders totaled $65,301,902,500 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,032,500, including $51,602,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $168,895,300 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated April 15, will April March 15, 2019.
