The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 3/4% coupon at a 0.865% yield, a price of 99.660163.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.25.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 68.36%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.835%. The low yield was 0.700%.
Tenders totaled $78,059,926,600 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,006,600, including $62,362,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated April 15, will mature April 15, 2018.
