NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $44 billion of two-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.024% yield, a price of 99.952608.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.03.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 63.61%.
The median yield was 0.980%. The low yield was 0.910%.
Tenders totaled $133,130,243,700 and the Treasury accepted $44,000,028,700, including $468,743,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $938,604,100 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated April 30 and due April 30, 2012.
