Treasury 2-Year Notes Auctioned at 0.860% High Yield

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $26 billion of two-year notes with a 3/4% coupon at a 0.860% yield, a price of 99.782632.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.90.

Tenders at the high yield were allotted 97.03%.

The median yield was 0.830%. The low yield was 0.688%.

Tenders totaled $75,347,385,600 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,048,900, including $172,235,600 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought $473,307,900 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.

The two-year notes are dated Jan. 31 and due Jan. 31, 2018.
