Treasury 2-Year Notes Auctioned at 0.842% High Yield

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $26 billion of two-year notes with a 3/4% coupon at a 0.842% yield, a price of 99.818393.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.64.

Tenders at the high yield were allotted 30.16%.

The median yield was 0.805%. The low yield was 0.760%.

Tenders totaled $68,708,985,500 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,025,500, including $140,635,500 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought $6,909,230,600 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.

The two-year notes are dated April 30 and due April 30, 2018.
