The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $30 billion of two-year notes with a 1/2% coupon at a 0.511% yield, a price of 99.978140.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.23.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 84.27%.
The median yield was 0.494%. The low yield was 0.436%.
Tenders totaled $96,934,512,800 and the Treasury accepted $30,000,030,300, including $145,512,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated June 30 and due June 30, 2016.
