NEW YORK - The Treasury Department auctioned $24 billion of 10-year notes with a 3 1/8% coupon at a 3.210% high yield, a price of 99.277862.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.00.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 18.26%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 3.175%. The low yield was 3.096%.
Tenders totaled $72,032,881,200 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,044,200 including $58,818,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated May 15, will mature May 15, 2021.
