The Treasury Department auctioned $24 billion of 10-year notes with a 2 3/8% coupon at a 2.439% high yield, a price of 99.435107.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.83.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 66.39%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 2.400%. The low yield was 2.337%.
Tenders totaled $68,006,751,500 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,004,500 including $52,651,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated Aug. 15, will mature Aug. 15, 2024.
