The Treasury Department auctioned $23 billion of 10-year notes with a 2 1/4% coupon at a 2.333% high yield, a price of 99.263516.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.29.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 5.23%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 2.260%. The low yield was 2.201%.
Tenders totaled $52,597,070,000 and the Treasury accepted $23,000,007,000 including $33,470,000 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $2,655,592,300 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated Feb. 15, will mature Feb. 15, 2027.
