The Treasury Department auctioned $24 billion of 10-year notes with a 2 1/8% coupon at a 2.237% high yield, a price of 99.001405.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.72.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 96.52%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 2.220%. The low yield was 2.190%.
Tenders totaled $65,298,889,900 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,369,900 including $46,264,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $542,818,600 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated May 15, will mature May 15, 2025.
