The Treasury Department auctioned $21 billion of 9-year 10-month notes with a 2 1/4% coupon at a 1.930% high yield, a price of 102.850862.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.61.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 57.99%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.890%. The low yield was 1.810%.
Tenders totaled $54,806,467,200 and the Treasury accepted $21,000,051,400 including $11,367,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2024.
