A self-described bond nerd, Tiffany Lu Leichman never stops moving. Since 2023, she has worked on more than 145 financings worth more than $1.7 billion. Her transaction volume has more than quadrupled over the past three years, reflecting both her expanding responsibilities and the confidence clients, underwriters, developers, and public entities place in her counsel.
Just last year, Tiffany served as bond counsel on many notable projects, including Redtail Ridge Metropolitan District, located in Louisville, Colorado, which issued more than $87 million in tax-exempt financing to support the first phase of infrastructure for a 2.6 million-square-foot mixed-use innovation campus. The project represents one of the largest remaining commercial development opportunities in Boulder County.
"There are so many great projects I get to work on, but Redtail is near and dear to my heart because it's actually in the town I live in and they are building a large new hospital in the area and a huge research and life sciences complex. It hasn't been easy, but it's been very rewarding," says Tiffany.
Additionally, Tiffany's work has directly supported thousands of residential units, millions of square feet of commercial and industrial development, transportation and tourism infrastructure, recreational amenities, schools, parks and other essential public improvements.
Beyond her transactional accomplishments, Tiffany has emerged as a recognized leader within the municipal finance industry. She recently served as co-president of the Mountain Region Chapter of Women in Public Finance, and is on the board of the Metro District Education Coalition.
She is also active in the National Association of Bond Lawyers and was selected for the prestigious Colorado Chamber of Commerce Leadership Colorado Program. In March, Tiffany was honored with the Law Week Colorado Top Women award.
Tiffany is mom to three daughters and has started training for a half marathon.
