Deutsche Bank's corporate trust division yesterday reported the opening of a new office in Olive Branch, Miss., just across the border from Memphis, as part of its recently announced plan to open regional corporate trust offices around the nation to serve an expanding client base in the municipal and corporate sectors.
Senior relationship manager Dennis Gillespie will head the new office, which will provide local relationship management and administration services for corporate trust clients in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Alabama.
Gillespie, who most recently worked for J.P. Morgan Chase, is an with 17 years experience in corporate trust. He will work closely with fellow managers Richard Hann, an 11-year veteran, and John Robertson, an attorney with nine years experience. The three professionals, who were all recruited by Deutsche Bank for the new office, will act as auction agents for auction-rate securities, trusteeships, and escrow agency.
"We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of our customers and providing them with market-leading products such as agency services for auction-rate securities, a key financing tool for municipal issuers," Howard Topf, managing director and head of global debt services for Deutsche Bank, said in a prepared statement.
As part of its expansion, Deutsche Bank recently opened a regional office in Charlotte, N.C.
