Monday, January 30 The Treasury will auction $31 billion of 91-day bills and $29 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills settle Feb. 2 and are due May 3. The 182-day bills settle Feb. 2 and are due Aug. 2. Currently, there are $51 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills. Personal income and spending figures for December are released by the Commerce Department.

Tuesday, January 31 The employment cost index for the fourth quarter is released by the Labor Department. Consumer confidence figures for January are released by the Conference Board
