SAN FRANCISCO — Seattle Northwest Securities Corp. this week announced hiring three new vice presidents.
Judith Cochrane joins the firm as a vice president for public finance, Dean Slemmons as a vice president on the firm’s municipal trading desk, and Dan Greenwood as a vice president for municipal sales. All are based in the Seattle office.
Cochrane was most recently at the Banc of America Securities LLC office in Seattle, where she was an underwriter for the Pacific Northwest region, interacting with clients through the marketing and sale of bond issues. She’s a lifelong resident of the Seattle area.
“Judith is a well known and highly respected professional in the municipal finance world of the Pacific Northwest. With her over 25 years in our industry, she brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to our firm,” Maud Daudon, Seattle Northwest’s managing director of public finance, said in a statement.
Slemmons is also a former Banc of America employee. He acted as senior trader and managed a large book of bonds at his last post, and brings almost 15 years of experience in banking and municipal finance to Seattle Northwest, the firm said.
Greenwood was most recently with investment brokerage Strand, Atkinson, Williams & York Inc., but also brings more than 19 years experience in municipal trading and sales to his new employer. His focus will be on primary and secondary business with institutional accounts nationwide.
“Dean and Dan bring added horsepower and know-how to our already strong operation. Their market knowledge and customer relationships will enhance our performance in these businesses,” said Mychele Lindvall, manager of municipal trading and sales at Seattle Northwest.
