The weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, was down five basis points this week, to 4.39 for the week ending April 10.
The 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields plunged 12 basis points this past week to 4.32%, the lowest since June 13.
The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields lost 11 basis points to 4.03%, the lowest since June 13.
The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index, which measures 30-year revenue bond yields, slid five basis point this week, to 5.18%, the lowest since Nov. 7.
The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note fell 15 basis points to 2.64%, after jumping by 11 basis points the week prior.
The yield on the Treasury's 30-year bond fell 9 points to 3.52%, after gaining 11 basis points last week.
