
The weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, was down five basis points this week, at 4.78% for the week ending March. 20.
The 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields jumped four basis points this week to 4.51%, the highest since Jan. 16.
The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields also climbed four basis points to 4.1822 the highest since Jan. 16.
The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index, which measures 30-year revenue bond yields, rose four basis point this week, to 5.30%, the highest since Feb. 13.
The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note jumped 13 basis points to 2.78%, after falling by 11 basis points the week prior.
The yield on the Treasury's 30-year bond gained seven points to 3.67%, after falling by nine basis points last week.
