Most Bond Buyer indexes dip one basis point

The weekly average yield to maturity of The Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, was unchanged from 4.11% the week before.

The Bond Buyer's 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields declined one basis point to 4.22% from 4.23% in the previous week. It is at its lowest level since Jan. 17 when it was at 4.19%.

The 11-bond GO Index of higher-grade 11-year GOs decreased one basis point to 3.69% from 3.70% in the previous week. It is at its lowest level in two weeks, when it was at 3.68%

The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index was also one basis point lower to 4.69% from 4.70% the week before. It is at its lowest level since Jan. 1, when it was at 4.66%.

The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note dropped to 2.63% from 2.72%, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury fell to 3.00% from 3.04%.
