Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its long-term rating on Merton Community School District, Wis.' outstanding general obligation debt to AA from AA-minus.

The outlook is stable.
"The upgrade reflects the district's continued positive financial performance," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Carol Hendrickson.
"The rating reflects our assessment of the district's very strong financial position supported by good financial management policies and low overall debt burden," she added.
