Memorial Health System, Ill., Upgraded to AA-Minus by S&P

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its long-term rating to AA-minus from A-plus on the Illinois Finance Authority's series 2009 and 2014A hospital revenue bonds issued on behalf of Memorial Health System.

The outlook is stable.

"The rating action reflects the application of our U.S. not-for-profit acute care stand-alone hospital criteria published Dec. 15, 2014 on RatingsDirect as well as our assessment of Memorial's enterprise and financial profiles as very strong," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Brian Williamson.

The stable outlook reflects the view that Memorial will be able to maintain its excellent financial and enterprise profiles during the outlook period.
