The municipal bond market traded stronger Monday afternoon even as bonds were put out for bid in the secondary market.

Most traders eyed the second retail order period for the $1.78 billion Jefferson County, Ala., sewer bonds, although secondary market activity picked up and bonds traded stronger with Treasuries.
