Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its rating on Lee County, Fla.'s outstanding non-ad valorem revenue bonds and capital revenue bonds to AA from AA-minus.
It also assigned a AA long-term rating to the county's series 2015 non-ad valorem refunding revenue bonds. The outlook is stable.
"The higher rating reflects stabilizing economic conditions and improved budgetary performance," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Timothy Little.
